A Letter to my Daughters

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” Jeremiah 1:5 I have four daughters. I pray each of them knows how deeply loved they are. In a world that emphasizes looks and accomplishments, it’s sometimes hard to remember where our worth comes from. Our identity and value come from the Lord. Here is a letter to remind them.

Beautiful Daughter,

You are deeply loved.

You were knit in the womb to be exactly who you are today.

Your eyes, your hair, your smile, your laugh, designed with perfection.

You are the daughter of a King and are royalty.

Walk as such.

Hold your head high and teach others the same.

Lift them up.

Live from love and not for it.

Know the difference as it will change everything.

Live from the overflow.

Spread it like wildfire.

This kind of love will change the world.

Indeed, it already has.
