Hi, I’m Ruth
The first woman in the Bible to have a book named after her was Ruth, a gleaner—someone who gathered what was left behind. I’ve always felt a connection to her story, not just because we share a name, but because I, too, find myself gleaning. Yet, what I gather is something else: the quiet whispers of God's voice woven throughout my life.
Here, you'll find some of my "gleanings" along life's way.
I’m a wife, a mother of five, and a follower of Jesus. Like you, I am in process, learning to slow down, listen, and hear God's voice through both the joys and struggles of everyday life. Even when His voice feels distant or hard to hear, He is always there, guiding us, even in the most chaotic seasons.
My prayer is that you find Him here—on these pages, in the stories I share, and in the lessons I glean from my own journey. While my anecdotes are unique to my life, the invitation to hear God’s voice in the everyday is one we all share. Through our imperfections, struggles, and joys, I believe that God speaks to us, and in hearing Him, we find the strength, peace, and wisdom we need to grow as followers of Christ. May the Lord speak to you as you read.
